Post My new game! (C++ with SDL library)
Hello, you might have seen my first game in the other topic, and it was console-based.
Well, now I have been working with SDL graphic library! :D
I have rewritten this game 3 times now, because of the mess in the source.

Some functions my game got right now:
* Walk around (Trying to fix so it moves to center of tiles)
* Collision (Walls and such)
* Shoot arrows (With shift button)

Next up is making the movement work like Phobos or Tibia,
Then creatures and collision with arrows so you can kill creatures.

I've made the sprites myself with Photoshop (I'm really proud :D)
I'm still a newbie with programming, but I hope I'll get finished with this project so I can start making my dream game :) (2d tile-based mmorpg)

And of course, I'll release the source later :)

Oh, by the way, I'm using Tibia's sprites for the character because I didn't have any time to make my own.

Right now I have buried this project and have started developing a 2D tile-based mmorpg with 9 other programmers, nothing serious, just for learning and more experience about teamwork.

Hegemon, not really, just to learn how games are built up.
But of course I will TRY to finish the project, its very rare that I finish my projects.
Then I think I will start learning some networking :)

Slurpy: Shizzle bizzle what?
Hehe, the archer's perspective is wierd, first I was making same as Tibia's perspective, but then I changed my mind because it would be too hard for me to design all sprites :)

Update:
Fixed some crappy collision detection for arrows now, and show difference sprites for character when going in different direction. (I'm using tibia sprites for this one right now, just for testing and don't have time to make my own ones right now)
Should I fix creatures now? I guess that will be really hard for me, but I'll give it a try!

Hello everyone!
There has been a lot of new updates since I last posted,
I'm not so active here :P

Yes, I'm using some of Tibia's graphics, but I'll change that later.
I just got it for now when testing everything.

Here is some of the new updates:

* Creatures (some new functions, but very buggy!)
* intro and menu (did not add it to this version, because I'm not finished with it yet)
* Working arrows

Because I had no time to make 4 different sprites, and I got not experience to make one either, if I'd even try it would look like a frying pan or something!

That looks neat. I like the graphics even though they don't really tile that well. :P Keep it up
