Re: Forum Changes Not sure of the exact name of the feature but there is a simpler version than this random one I found on google. http://forums.xpgaming.net/shoutboxI use to be a commoner on a forum that had a real simple coded one just at the top of the site. Though that one didn't refresh manually you had to refresh by actually refreshing the page. hehe

Re: Forum Changes The problem with shoutboxes is that they are TOO casual. We are afraid that people won't use it much and that, in the imo improbable case that it is used a lot, it is hard to moderate and keep track of spam, insults, rule violations, etc.
Apart from that, shoutboxes always have this weird aura to them. They seem to be more fitting for a blog, but not a forum.
