Sadly not everyone visits them + I don't think there are any english ones still thriving. The only one I ever really hear about is PhobosBR. What now? :/

You can still use the PMs, and talk about Phobos on the boards. But to be honest, I'm not quite sure. But it's all for the better :)

Just as my district said for the dress code

:P

On a serious note, I may have an idea for a feature that could prove useful for general conversations on the board if y'all would like to know it.

I sugest we keep the boards opened for discussion but, with a aditional feature, "newsletter", for now...

Edit: we can try this rpocess above for a few monts until everbody gets used to it...

Not sure of the exact name of the feature but there is a simpler version than this random one I found on google.

I use to be a commoner on a forum that had a real simple coded one just at the top of the site. Though that one didn't refresh manually you had to refresh by actually refreshing the page. hehe

The problem with shoutboxes is that they are TOO casual. We are afraid that people won't use it much and that, in the imo improbable case that it is used a lot, it is hard to moderate and keep track of spam, insults, rule violations, etc.
Apart from that, shoutboxes always have this weird aura to them. They seem to be more fitting for a blog, but not a forum.
