I'm wondering, a lot more needs to be tested and I have read that along that road, there will be a few resets. Why actually? Isn't it more useful to let people play along so they can explore new areas faster and report bugs faster that way?

Not really. As you said, there is a lot to be tested, and that will take some time. But without resets, it's not so helpful for us because we can't reliably test balance when we change certain major things (e.g. skill learning formulas, modifiers to dual-wielding damage, etc.).

Take the beta not only as a way to help the game devs fix all the bugs, but as a chance to test build and classes.

Btw Rob are we gona have a reset when the game goes live? casue there was a poll over there about this.

Then it would be better perhaps to first make players able to go anywhere, check for map errors, quest errors et cetera, then to reset and to check the balancing acts of damage and all that. Or you're having to start anew every time.

Any words on lifting the prohibition to leave Timari? I can see you're fixing a lot of stuff about skills and such and expect there will soon be a reset.

Very very excited to test! Although I must admit that I only heard about this game from a guildmate about a week ago :P

I was wondering if Myth would consider giving all those who donated or all those who tested the game in closed beta a small token of appreciation?

Like maybe an in game outfit when the game goes public or something?

Something to show that we were here from the beginning and helped the game become successful :) (because it will be!)

:,D

Oh btw Till & other staff. Just wanted to express that you guys will be the dominant 2D MMORPG on the internet because you recognize the problems with other MMO's of the same genre's, you recognize things that will make your's surpass theirs and you're constantly going to the community for ideas.

This is the picture of success in the gaming industry. So excited to see a game like this being run by capable, Driven, passionate intelligent people. I forsee this game overtaking tibia in the next 2 years if done right.
