I think when you advance in strength instead of saying "you advanced in strength" it should say something like "You feel stronger." The first one sounds weird to me idk about everyone else

Hey hey, 101% agreed :D
I had never thought about it, but it's a good idea..
Also what if the messages for advances and stuff like that (like the ones when you're full of eating) could be random? like from a list of 5 different ones you get one when reaching the advance.. that way it's not the same message

Exact! The character should understand the "changes" and not a "voice of the beyond" he said... :P

It has been thought of before.. I know I have at least once told Robbert to change those over MSN, but as usually, I get a "hehe" or "lol", then silence xD

I like the idea with "You feel stronger."

Maybe something like; "You notice that your biceps is bigger.", "You feel stronger.", "Your equipment feels lighter." for strenght-advancement

Earth magic: "You feel how you gain more control of earth-spells." "Earth seems a bit easier to handle now."

For Blunting: "You notice that your mace hit harder." "The mace do more damage now." "You now hit more often with the mace."

and so on... I would like to see random messages... maybe from a library of 8-10-12 different possibilitys for each class/skill. Each bound to the specific class, so that it not get messed up. Eg: "You notice that your mace hit harder." cant be misstaken to be a "piercing-advance".

Thank you for reading :)

Actually, even maces may do piercing damage, If it has a sharp tip or something like that. The skill depends on how it looks, not which class it has :)

Some swords and axes train multiple skills already :)
