Post Water/drinks
I think instead of just having food to eat, players should keep up with water too. It is essential in life to have water...

What do you think? xD

New addition:: as Ri0z said.
I think certain food/water should restore a certain value of health/mana. So you can separate the less nutritious food with the richer one.

It would work better though if the food would restore a percentage of your characters health/mana.. Then you'd rather go and find some Filet Mignon instead of eating your average Hamburger.

He's proposing drinks as alternative to food, same effect just different "action" :)
Maybe a bit less effective but much easier to obtain (water --> any source of a river).

Yeah it can be quite expensive and hard to get food if you are a new player, so free water in the city could be a good solution to let low level players heal back to full health without spending all their money on food or chasing rabbits

Maybe 'holy water' from the temple as opposed to 'normal' water.

I think that holy water would be a good cure for demonic possessions, if it would be something like that ingame.

I highly doubt that they are going to allow your character to become uncontrollable and let an AI player play as your character with demonic abilities. Maybe for a quest though to cure an NPC that is apparently possessed. Oh, but you will an ankh, a bible and need a bucket for the projectile vomit of course too.

@Mitha: Sounds okay. But I think mystical/rarer foods would restore mana too.
Ham would restore health, but a 'Dragon Ham' would restore health and mana.

Note: I know Phobos might not have Dragon Hams (or even dragons yet for that matter), so I used a commonly known Tibia food. It was simply an example.

I don't see a reason why certain food would only restore a certain value.

Food allays hunger (health) and water allays thirst (mana)... alright, that explanation doesn't sound very convincing.

I am still up for the idea to have easy accessible "water-spots" like fountains in cities to be able to slightly restore health and mana.

I remember that in Diablo you could drink from wells that popped up in random places, and get some health from it.
