Job to earn gold , items , exp , quest .

hello i have an idea,

well you know , start from 0 its hard , especially when its a new game
so my proposal , its the creation of job's (similar but not same as task , a task generally is of get x amount of items , who is at long really boring )

Example of a job:

A npc of certain city or place , give you the job of do "x" thing

Npc Mapper : I have a job for you , i need some one , who explore "x" island

Npc Mapper : do you wana take the job?

player: yes

Npc: take this map ,and don't forget the pen! to draw the path , and when you finish , come to me

"Player got a map and pen ."

you see a blank map.
you see a pen.

Note: to do more interactive , when player reach "x" sqm or tittle , a message will show in the console

"This is the place , now you can draw at the map"

so you need to "use" the pen in the map , when message pop ups

when you finish .

you see a path map.
you see a empty pen.

Npc: so , you finish with the job?
Player: yes
Npc: excellent , here are you reward!

Player got 1000 gold ..

Another function of the job , for noble accounts if you want
is the unlock of certain items or skills

example (smith skill )
*In order to "craft " strong weapon , who maybe add some defence or atack of sword , you will need a special item.

smith: I can make that your sword get more stronger ,
if you bring me , a hard metal , i think those giants got some , but maybe you need to "deal" with those dumb so be ready to fight.

"player get pickaxe"

"you need to go at giant caves , and use the pickaxe at some "walls , you can get an piece of hard metal , got damage by a rock slide , or a giant will respawn behind you. when you got "x" amount of hard metal.

smith: so , you make it! lets gona try , oh and you will need a pay "xxxx" gold coins , do you accept?

player: yes

>your sword gain +2 attack.
>your sword got damage , and you need to repair
>the metal was already to broken.

Why to put in game?

some time you got bored of hunting , do quest , or maybe you got the top of experience .

you can unlock certain items , or improvements of weapons

noble accounts players , can get special items .

low level players , can collect special items for sell

gain some extra gold .

more interactivity to play (if you dont like to level , at least you cant get strong weapons)

I don't think we need this thing in this game :evil: because I think you will get exp/gold/item reward of making quest I am 100% sure of that because this idea sounds like a quest so just level up farm golds get your supplies and go make quests with your team or solo :king:

Agreed. In my opinion, they're good ideas, but they're beginner's quests.

That woud be a nice quest, but if we had to vote I would rather vote not to implement it because quests part is still in it's early stage of development (85%) and should not be amplied until game is completely done.
Also I would like to point that I belive 1000 coins to make a map is too much money. Such source of easy money would unbalance the game economy.

It sounds like a quest, indeed.

But it would be nice to implement jobs as an alternative way of making money. And i think that if there are jobs, they should be like getting X of somthing... It's a job, it's not to be fun, it's to give money. Of course, some jobs would be less boring than others. You could craft, lumberjack, fish, build, clean, kill, whatever...
