Isn't that too much work? Assuming the players always lose, you'll have to rebuild the city every time a invasion occurs, right?

What about NPCs ask for wood and stone to rebuild their house and city?

Pretty amazing. But as Deathwish said, I'm seeing this as tons and tons of work for you to be done... haha

How will be the transition from normal buildings to their destroyed state?

If you always lose, then you're going to run out of cities pretty quick. So I suggest that you don't lose ;) But cities won't be constantly under attack anyway. Invasions which threaten a city will only happen from time-to-time. And we HOPE that players will be able to fight most of them off.

If players do find a way to rebuild a destroyed city, then the area won't be fully re-mapped anyway. Rather I'll use the original non-destroyed city and make changes to that (e.g. some buildings will be changed, a few ruins left as a reminder, etc).

There will be no transition graphics from normal to destroyed state at release, if that's what you meant.

What we will probably do is have a period of time (e.g. 2 weeks) in which players need to re-capture the city before it is lost completely and turned into ruins. But the exact details of destroyed cities still needs to be decided. So feel free to make suggestions on that.

The trunk of the trees changed when they lost the leaves. Bad!

However, I really liked the new sprites of the Orcs. Good!

The creature on the second floor is indeed a new creature: orc bowman.

Players will never be able to build houses just anywhere, that would cause too many problems and be too open to abuse. Player-designed houses may be an option in the future, but we would have to restrict what players can do with that to prevent ugly, stupid, bugged houses being built.

We'll look to fix those problems later on :p

You guys confirmed that we will be able to log on to any server at any point (Which I hate btw)? So all the servers has to be the same, right?

Whether it is possible to log on to any server at any time is actually still a matter of internal discussions.
