@The staff member who said something about the autoborder and slow there is no need for auto border to map fast and with style. just practice.
@Staff Stop slacking and give something real. even my grandma can map ....

@Staff Stop slacking and give something real. even my grandma can map .... In case you've missed it; mapping randomly is fast, but mapping according to lore -- and to a setting described in text -- shouldn't be done quickly. I would actually be quite sad if I saw the map rushed. I like it when things are done properly, and in my experience fast rarely equals properly. While practice would speed things up, having mechanical skills with a map editor is not something I would prioritize in my life.

 Re: Teaser - Mapping
Well I never thought mapping was that painful! I guess I just never really thought about the actual logistics and such.
Great work Rob

I don't know if this was about the speed I'm mapping in the video (although how you'd know how fast it actually is, I don't know ), or if that's a reference to how long it has been since mapping got an update in the to-do list...

I'm talking about the speed in which he builds, but it was a only a joke anyway! I wasn't being serious in any way. I love map designers for beauty in their creations; not the speed in which they can create. P.S. I hope the mapper doesn't take it personal, looking back on this while I'm baked it kind of sounds harsh. I loves you <3Till wrote: We didn't spend much time on developing our Map Editor, for obvious reasons Auto-border and auto-randomizer help out a lot in speed, we don't have that. I just realized there was two pages. Sorry to ignore your post for a second bud. Yeah they do help out a lot in speed, though I worked on maps when I was knee high to a grass hopper using JxB's and Sim0nes later on. I was spoiled by Remere after a while with his crafty auto borders though. I'm probably not as fast as I use to be.

 Re: Teaser - Mapping
Rob, I think you have a talent and that kind of teaser should be constant! Incidentally, teasers videos have much more life than pictures.
