Post Teaser - Mines of the Hilafo Range
Just another small preview of what's to come. Here we present to you the entrance to the Mines of Gryld, along with a short description of the area.

Image

Three mines exist on the southern slopes of the Hilafo Range: of Nilkas, Hethen and Gryld. As human constructions, they lack both the finesse and grandeur of Dwarven mines, and as the mountain's supplies of ore dried up, Nilkas and Hethen mines were abandoned. Although both have since become inhabited by various peoples; including packs of vicious wolves and bands of outlaws.

Only the mines of Gryld continue to be mined, although even these have become shrouded in mystery after the unexplained disappearances of several miners and a search party from the lower levels. The Emposian Kingdom, which owns the mines, denied claims that the mines had become overrun by some terrible creature, though have since shut off many areas.

What might lie behind the blockades is a favourite topic in nearby settlements, though it's still unsure whether the tales are simply the chatter of enthusiastic barmen, or if there is in fact some truth behind them.

That looks cool, though I hoped we'll get to see poke some dwarves... :D
Seems like whole lots of new quests to me, I like it; those "outlaws" sound nice.

May I ask if the crafting skills will be turned on? We already had a pick, and now we'll get one open mine, would be cool ^^

Btw, the tapestry on the wall... It's diferent than that in Timari. Does it mean that both cities are located in different kingdoms? These crownish ones are still sexy.

@edit:

Is it just me, or the character avatars seem smaller? ;S

No, Timari is a part of the Emposian Kingdom, but Timari got it's own banner (the green and white banner with an Owl) and the Emposian Kingdom got its own (there's a difference between the banner of the Emposian Kingdom and the city of Empo Sar too).

The banner you see on the picture is the Crown Banner, the king's own banner that is usually used on buildings that the king own.

We are using a larger field. Instead of the previous 15×11 size, we now use 17×13 giving the players a much nicer view over the landscape. This might also give you the feeling the players look smaller, though in this screenshot everything is at perfect size so there are no blury graphics. When you'll be playing Phobos you won't notice a thing.

Nice nice :D Hegemon is right, this would be a great opportunity to start some crafting-skill-testing ;)

Outlaws, vicious wolfes.... and other people :)

Fabulous!

That's cool, ranging finally will be boosted a little. And we'll get better pvp overview when pvp is implemented. xD

@Mezzy:
That makes sence, each village has its own symbol, but all of them belong to the kingdom. Pretty much like irl. ^^

Can't wait to visit Cordria and try out new thighs ^^

@down:
That's nice.

We have shown no signs of activity but we have been working. Keep a look out for more teasers, and possibly a game in the near future.

Axel.

I doubt there will be that many dwarfs there, apart from the ocational Mezur, since it was a human construction.
But the thing about the lurking creature seems like it's something that should be investigated as soon as possible.

I should probably level up a bit so I can explore, but we'll see how it'll turn out :)

Kind regards, Faw~
